This vase is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship. Made of clear glass, it is first blown and fused together, then bent on a blowpipe. The cane-made flower medallions are picked up sporadically and blown onto the vase. The flower pattern consists of individual tiles of glass creating bursts of color, complementing the oval shape with a flared lip. Fused medallions of color create cane-worked flowers covered with another layer of clear glass, making the patterns encased in clear and creating a striking flower medallion pattern. This intricate process results in a unique piece that is perfect for displaying your favorite bouquets.
Elevate your space with this exquisite hand-blown glass vase, meticulously crafted in a Brooklyn glass studio. Great display piece or centerpiece with flowers.
Craftsmanship:
Created with a complex process originating from Murano, Italy. Karen hand-selects individual colored glass canes that she and art glass specialist Aaron hand make, then she expertly creates captivating color stories. Together, as it takes two people to create this beautiful cane-blown glass, it is shaped, and the result is a stunning piece of art that can be admired for its beauty and craftsmanship.
Versatile Design:
This vase is perfect for showcasing flowers or as a striking standalone piece. Its flat bottom ensures stability, making it ideal for tabletop displays or centerpieces.
