Offered for sale is a s set of 6 dining chairs with 2 arms and 4 sides. The chairs retain the original tags that say American Furniture Company. Originally founded on March 21, 1906 in Martinsville, Virginia, American Furniture Company was formed by businessmen. By the 1950s, the name had been changed to American of Martinsville. These chairs are probably late 1940s into the early 1950s.
The wear is consistent with age and use. There are minor scratches and would benefit from being reupholstered.
