I'm pleased to offer for sale this magnificent Vintage organic Modern split reed "Sculptura" console table by the wickedly talented Betty Cobonpue, circa 1980. Signed. A chic console table features a waterfall design Pencil reed frame in a cerused matte white finish.
Betty Cobonpue is a Philippines-based designer, who in the 1980s created a line of furniture called Scultura. Cobonpue has described her design sensibility with a simple mantra: “No hard edges.”
In her work, lines flow smoothly through the entire piece. She often includes decorative embellishments such as leaf patterns and scalloped edges.

In good Vintage condition with wear / marks in some areas. On the edge of the right side it has a chipped edge, on the left side it is a little scratched. Please see all photos for additional details.
