19th Century Chinese Foo Dogs in ceramic.
Extremely rare pair of sculptures representing a couple of seated dogs in polychrome ceramic, one with a globe topped by a paw and the other with a puppy. China, Qing Dynasty. 17th century. Identical or similar pieces can be found on page 80 of the book 'Chinese Porcelain from the Société Asiatique de Paris' by Ricardo Joppert.
