The body decorated with cartouches of stylized peony bouquets on a latticework … more A fine antique Dutch Delft vase or jar.
The body decorated with cartouches of stylized peony bouquets on a latticework ground. The shoulder decorated with alternating cartouches of peonies and stylized satyr heads, and the base decorated in a panel of stylized landscape designs around their circumference.
With wide depth and range of colors in the blues and in the creamy white of the glazed ground.
Simply a wonderful early Dutch Delft vase!
