It will now be perfect as a console, in an entryway or living room. with its long format and shallow depth, it can easily fit into any type of space.
You can also use it as a desk, work table, as for its original function. Or even as a central island to structure a kitchen and make it a unique work surface, thanks to its comfortable height.
In solid oak, this piece of furniture will be very robust.
Completely restored, it was sanded, treated, lightly stained to bring out the veining so typical of oak, then protected with a transparent matte varnish.
This table has nevertheless kept its original patina and retains the marks of its former life - in particular dark "blackened" marks as evidenced by the photos. This gives it a great authenticity.
