An antique Persian Shiraz oriental rug, size 7'9" H x 4'6" W, circa 1920. This lovely small hand-knotted wool carpet features three medallions in a diamond design on the blue central field, with a complementary ivory border. The subdued earth tones combine beautifully with the simple geometric design elements to create an earthy, harmonious rug that will enhance any room's interior decor. A great choice for an entry way, a foyer, a bedroom, or a living space, or even as a wall hanging! Short, supple wool pile. Excellent condition.
