Referencing French furniture designs from the late 18th century, they are combined to create this beautiful two piece desk with storage. Raised molding, rosette carvings and exquisite turned feet add a genteel air. Crafted of kiln-dried hardwood with fine veneers using mortise-and-tenon joinery the piece has been carefully distressed to achieve the look of a weathered antique. The secretary features a drop front work surface, tow adjustable shelves and three roomy drawers with integrated outlets. Cast-metal hardware in matching distressed finish. Light surface wear; two drawer pulls missing; condition is consistent with age and use.
