This pair of three arm candlestick holders were made by French Coppersmith - Albert Gilles. They are absolutely stunning. The solid brass and copper have a brushed matte finish. Both are signed by the artist - "A Gilles" as seen in the image above.
Gilles (1895 -1979) was born in Paris, France, immigrated to Quebec City, Canada and in 1930 moved to the United States. He founded the Albert Gilles Studio, later renamed Cuivres d'Art Albert Gilles, or the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio. less
