This stunning chandelier is definitely from the Beaux Arts period and probably was made for an early East Coast Mansion or came out of a public building. The quality of the cast bronze is second best to Tiffany Studios. Egg and dart, beading, acanthus leaf pattern., fabulous detail! The leaded glass fish scale pattern in the lower bowl panels are another amazing work of art!
Their are 8 exterior arms and 3 lights illuminating the leaded glass bowl panels.
This fixture was made to be displayed in an area of prominence and where it would be enjoyed from all angles. PERFECT entry piece or large scale public room.
This is absolutely the most magnificent chandelier our business has been able to acquire in our 48 yrs of antique lighting restoration…enjoy! Of course, this fixture is completely restored.
