This piece of stone cast sculpture by Texas artist Hayes Parker is part of an interrelated collection of pots and vases, planters, brackets and sconces etc. each piece is given by hand a metal oxide bath causing a chemical color reaction that actually penetrates the cement. Variations in humidity temperature and time between casting and submergence into the oxide bath will significantly impact the final coloration of each sculpture giving each one its own distinct look. They are cast in fine grain cement and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. less
