This is an adorable rare ceramic tea set made in England in the 1940s. The set includes a one cup teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl. All have lids with round pink rose handles. The set is glazed creamy white and decorated with dogwood sprigs in pink, green, and brown. The edges are bordered with a tiny green stripe. The set is marked "Ambassador Ware" on the bottom of each piece. Ambassador Ware was produced at the Simpson Potteries, Ltd. of Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent, England and distributed in the US beginning in 1942 by Eugene L. Fondeville, New York. Condition is excellent with the exception of the typical crazing you see on vintage ceramics.
