A set of Antique 19th Century Jasperware Server-ware by Wedgewood in colbalt blue dip with white relief. The set includes 1 Jug/Pitcher, 1 Buscuit Barrel (missing lid) and 1 Cake/ Dessert Plate. Please see detailed information on each individual piece below.
Antique Wedgwood cobalt blue Jasperware cake dessert plate. This late 19th Century two-handled square cake plate with a white relief displaying classical maidens making votive offerings. On the bottom is has Impressed marks both Wedgewood along with the letter L. It’s marked Wedgwood, which indicates it’s pre 1891. The L code suggests that it’s 1878. Plate Condition: Excellent condition with no chips or cracks, some minor discoloration marks on bottom. In excellent condition for age. Approx Dimensions: 10"W x 9"D x 1.25"H.
An Antique globe shaped jasperware biscuit barrel from Wedgwood in cobalt blue and white circa late 19th century. On the bottom is has Impressed marks both Wedgewood along with the letter P. It’s marked Wedgwood, which indicates it’s pre 1891. The P code suggests that it’s 1887. The topper of the barrel and handle is made from nickel plate- the lid is missing. Biscuit Barrel Condition: The relief work is intact and with some minor fractures. The nickel plate areas have some tarnish. In excellent condition for age. Approx Dimensions: 6"W x 6"D x 6" H; Diameter across base: 3.5", Diameter across top: 4", 8" High to top of Handle.
