The bold cornice is above … Read more Antique English Chippendale or George III Mahogany chest on chest in two parts. Circa 1760+. The bold cornice is above a carved dental molding on an uppercase with chamfered corners having fluted columns. Each drawer has cockbeaded rims. The mahogany glows with the depth of a polished old finish. Below, tall original ogee carved bracket feet have volutes within the scrolling. The rococo hardware is a fine type and antique, possibly original, with worn guilt over brass castings. No major repairs. See less
