Antique oil painting by French Impressionist artist Paul de Frick (1864-1935), stamped & painted 1900, the painting depicting a bridge over the River Seine, possibly the Pont au Change. The artist very often painted plein air in Paris and this is one of six such Parisian scenes Bloomsbury Fine Art currently has for sale. The painting is oil on artist's board and bears the artist's stamp lower right and and to the verso, condition is very good.
Paul de Frick was born in Paris and lived there until his death in 1935, he was a visual artist painting in the Impressionist style, he studied under Gustave Boulanger & Luc Oliver-Merson, he exhibited widely & frequently at the Paris Salon.
