These two very handsome Highland scenes are named scenes in the Trossachs of the Scottish Highlands, both are Loch scenes, each is titled on a label on the Verso, One "Loch Katrine" the other "Loch Goil". Each painting is signed G. F. Buchanan to the lower right, the paintings are housed in the original gilded frames. Condition is very good indeed, a fine & rare pair of landscapes by an accomplished Scottish artist.
Framed: 23.5" tall x 27" wide x 2.5" deep
At sight: 14" tall x 18" wide less
