Few minor scratches here an there maybe, few marks in the porcelain itself ( I believe those are points when the ready piece is removed from the mold?) underneath the plates, I have shown in the photo. Please look at the photos as part of the description. If you can enlarge the photo so you can see as much detail as possible would give you more detail view.. These plates are very special in the fact that they are rare and limited and only a very small number ( less than a dozen!) of them are in existence ( and here are 7 of them) and they are absolutely beautiful. Enjoy them! less

These plates are very special. My uncle with the immense help from my mother built an amazing hotel restaurant in the middle of New York City called The Box Tree. Unfortunately, it doesn't exist any longer but while it did - that time nobody who has dined there would ever forget.
At one point in the late 1980s, my uncle and my Mom were flirting with the idea of making special plates and pairing them with the white Wedgwood. They did make very few just to indulge in the endeavor. At one point few of them graced the opulent dining tables. My uncle, a renaissance man, with an impeccable appreciation of beauty, and the recently acquired title pushed him into making few for only himself with his designed and personalized logo. However, anyone who loves and identifies with the symbol of the double eagle with crown - would love these plates.
The Box Tree was featured in Architectural Digest's "Collector's Edition INSIDE New York" in November 1987.
These plates are extremely limited and I am offering you the chance to have something very beautiful and scarce..
