Made by German ceramic manufacturer Waechtersbach circa 1900 at the height of the Jugendstil movement, this is a beautiful and rare example of Art Nouveau design with highly stylized, curving floral forms.
This large ceramic tile would have originally been used as cutting board/prep surface. Now, it would make a gorgeous piece of wall decor in a kitchen, bathroom, entryway, or anywhere you fancy a little arts and crafts.
