For Sale is a Vintage (1981) Studio Pottery Floor Vase or Umbrella Stand 25" tall, created by Sam Machulis (a Master of Large Wheel Thrown Mega Vessels).
It is a Rare Find these days. Sam Machulis has retired from making Mega Vases.
Sam Machulis started throwing pottery 1970 at Southern Utah University, where he graduated ceramics & watercolors in 1973.
He went on to get his MA in ceramics from Central Michigan University in 1982.
Some of Machulis' pots weigh 150 lbs. I think he's got a lot of talent and a L&L DaVinci Bell-Lift Kiln.
This Floor Vase is 25 inches tall and 10 inches wide/deep and tapers to a 6" top opening.
That base is super thick and heavy so it won't get knocked over.
It weighs approximately 20 lbs.
It's Organic Shape and Colors is a Great Design.
It has 2 stylized handles and a long white neck wears a craquelure glaze.
A Truly Rare Find.
The last photo is taken by his wife at a show back in the early 1990s.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when
making a purchase on Chairish, in the event that your item:
- Does not arrive
- Is broken during transit

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
