Condition Notes: The tail on this sculpture is as sourced and appears to be missing based on other works of art from … moreThe tail on this sculpture is as sourced and appears to be missing based on other works of art from Mitchell. Typically his sculptures are also perched on a stone base. This one was sourced without a base but there does appear to be screw receivers at the bottom of two hooves as if it once had a base that was removed. It does stand perfectly and securely on its own without a base. The bronze does show signs of wear and age giving lots of character & patina. This is a vintage piece so there will be wear and signs of age. I do my very best to capture these in the photos.
