A 1980s abstract mixed media painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Composed of gouache, graphite, and colored pencil on paper, abstract lines in vibrant colors illustrate biomorphic shapes over a pink ground in this abstract work. The painting is signed and dated “Hilson” to the bottom center.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
