Subject Depicts a New England Winter - Fall Time Snow - River - Trees - Forest Scene. It Comes From the Classic American Arts & Crafts Period. It is Signed by the Artist M M and Dated 1916. I Have No Information on The Artist. It is in its Original Beautifully All Hand Carved Solid Oak Frame with Excellent Detail in The Deep Carved Classic Trailing Oak Leaf, Acorns & Vine Motif. The Frame Still Retains its Original Dark Oak Varnished Finish that is in Very Nice Condition. The Frame was Obviously Hand Made by an Experienced Wood Carver. I Purchased this Piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Pennsylvania Lancaster Valley Region. The Painting and the Frame are in Excellent All Original Condition and It Displays Beautifully. It has No Damage - No Repairs.
Frame Measures 17 3/4 inches Tall x 24 3/8 inches Long x 1 1/4 inches Wide - Deep.
