If you know or have heard of Herend, there is nothing much to write except that this is a very rare find. Yes, there are some plates in the pattern and some coffee/tea pots offered by different sites but what I am offering is hard to come by. I have not found the model in the pattern I am offering. To begin with, this pattern is actually very difficult to find, many of the pieces are discontinued and others are impossible to find in both private and commercial inventory.
They are extremely rare. So here is your chance to get this Fruits & Flowers Coffee Pot with a Lid to add to your lovely collection.
The pieces and especially certain pieces from the Fruits and Flower collection are very difficult to impossible to find.
All the Herend I am offering and my crystal and glass pieces have been showcased in a glass door cabinet in the living room at home and only used on rare special occasions. ( and not all of them!)
Herend Fruits & Flowers pattern was first introduced in the 1860s with its beautiful compositions of hand-painted fruits and flowers. The Imperial Court of Russia ordered a set after its display at the World Exhibition of 1900.
Measurements:
H 8.5" L 6" ( Spout to handle) W 4"
There is a gilded rim around the entire piece, showing off its basket-weave style embossed detailing, and it is adorned with flowers, hanging fruits, root vegetables, multi-colored insects and fresh fruit. The colors are vibrant against the white porcelain.
Please be sure to see all photos, as they are part of the description. This coffee/tea Pot is in excellent, pre-owned condition, with no flaws. No chips, cracks, crazing or paint/gold loss. It is like-new! Would be a wonderful addition to your dinner table or your collection of fine china. Made in Hungary.
