Description: This Royal Vienna-style cabinet plate depicts children sitting next to a rock wall playing a game called “cube” (see title … more This Royal Vienna-style cabinet plate depicts children sitting next to a rock wall playing a game called “cube” (see title in photos) on a flat rock. One of the three children looks beyond the plate to hold the eyes of the observer. The image is a lithographic transfer with hand-painted embellishments. The overglaze blue shield mark indicates that this plate was not made by the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory. If it was VPM, the shield mark would be underglaze blue. This plate is signed.

This cabinet plate is in very good original condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are no rim chips, but there is slight wear to the gilded cavetto.
