Has the artist’s stamped signature and numbered 82 / 100 underneath. Square black painted wood base. The sculpture was created for the Fighting Illini Scholarship Fund for those athletes and others who are willing to make sacrifices to achieve a superior performance in their field. The bronze castings of the sculpture are all made from the same mold using the ancient Lost Wax process. Sculpture shows an abstract man and woman reaching for the sky on a large rock.
