The way light and dark change the colors in his scenes are what inspires him and this example is typical of a 'Plein Air' study done in Central Park whilst out walking around Manhattan.

It has the energy and quickness of his brush strokes that his sketches are best known for, with the use of stunning blues and purples.

This example is an acrylic on paper which was then laid down onto a wooden support. Painted circa 2020.
