The original date on the Plaque is Guang Xu Year of 28, Qing Dynasty which is year of 1902. The Chinese calligraphy was hand carved on the plaque and highlighted with gold color. The Chinese words on the plaque means five generation living together. This is a very rare case, and the family took great pride, admired and celebrated by their community and sometime even favored and praised by the emperor. Made from hardwood, the plaque has been kept in excellent condition. Original patina and wear.
