An impressive antique Arabesque sofa.
The sofa in the Moorish style and most likely made in Syria or another country in the Levant, in the late 19th to early 20th century.
The sofa having carved Arabesque panels on all sides, the sofa also with calligraphic ebonized panel incised with Arabic proverbs. Arched "windows" to the back rest accented by bone, mother of pearl and ebonized features.
