Description: This lovely scene depicts two bison done in the same color palette as the famous painter Georg Catlin did back … more This lovely scene depicts two bison done in the same color palette as the famous painter Georg Catlin did back in the 1800's. His American Bison was the inspiration of this piece. I wrote in some facts about the great bison on the animals. I used the luscious colors that Catlin did for his scene, rich green and soft and sweet pinks for the sky. It is all done using layers of acrylic paint on a 36" x 24" stretched canvas that comes ready to hang as is with the sides of the canvas painted brown. less
