This one-of-a-kind table features refined details. The superb tabletop has been finely realised by an expert marble artisan. It is compound by 5 different types of precious marble:
- Marmo Giallo Siena is one of the most beautiful, prestigious and detailed marble that is mined in Italy.
- Marmo Verde delle Alpi, a typical marble from Valle d'Aosta, a region in the Italian Alps, it is used as a decorative marble because of its particular colour.
-Marmo Rosa di Verona, a durable and resistant pink marble from the Verona area.
-Marmo Botticino, extracted from the Brescia area, is a really solid and low value of porosity marble.
- Onice Etrusco, a warm dark honey coloured onyx, coming from Tuscany region.
All those marbles are classified as "highly valuable and precious" stones.
In addition to these rare materials, this unique tabletop shows a refined technique used by the artisan assembling all those pieces together. A breathtaking effect!
The legs are made of full brass and show a delicate patina of the time passed. The upper part is made of dark lacquered mahogany. All those details well represent the mid-century era where elegance and refinement were the main Italian design characteristics.
The table comes in perfect conditions and the marble has been treated by a local marble artisan and it doesn't show any traces of use.
Malvasia is a dreamful and luxurious piece of Italian craftsmanship for one lucky home.
