- This unique set of bookends has a wonderful mid-century modern vibe, from the choice of colors to the curvy irregular … more This unique set of bookends has a wonderful mid-century modern vibe, from the choice of colors to the curvy irregular shape. These were not mass produced, likely done by a mosaic artist or could even be a well-done hobbyist project. The glass pieces are inset into the wood and firmly attached; given that these are likely more than 50 years old it's amazing that all the original pieces are intact. They were probably intended as bookends, but also make for a nice abstract art piece and looked great stacked in a tower. less
