They don't go through the entire plate but they are there. I wasn't even thinking of including it but decided that someone might want to have it and perhaps repair it. The rest of the plates are in excellent condition. They have been displayed the majority of the time. No chips or cracks. maybe there are signs of aging but to me, they look perfect for what they are. Please take a look at the photos which have not been altered and if possible enlarge them to see all you can see. less

If you know or have heard of Herend, there is nothing much to write except that this is a rare find. Yes, there are some plates in the pattern offered by different sites but what I am offering is hard to come by. They are extremely rare. So here is your chance to get this lovely collection. I am so sorry that the 6th one is fractured. I have shown in the photos the two fractures. However, they don't go through, and you might want to when displaying, put it in the back where it will not be seen, or have it repaired.
I was even wondering if I should include it or offer only 5 pieces but I decided to sort of give this fractured plate in case you would like to repair it yourself.
Only the fractured plate is not signed by the artist. The others - are.
They are extremely rare. So here is your chance to get this lovely collection.
They were kept in a glass cabinet in the living room at home and only used on rare special occasions. ( and not all of them!)
Herend Fruits & Flowers pattern was first introduced in the 1860s with its beautiful compositions of hand-painted fruits and flowers. The Imperial Court of Russia ordered a set after its display at the World Exhibition of 1900. less
