Whimsical Italian Regency style hand-carved faux bois armchair featuring a cerused or glazed finish. The frame has carved twig or branch motifs with an intentionally aged patina. The finish is lightly cerused with a white wash style lacquer having a gloss patina on the finish. The armchair is upholstered with a thick tapestry style fabric having a floral, foliate, and animal motif in vibrant colors. The fabric is vintage but in very good, presentable condition. The frame is solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Works well as a desk chair.
