This is an Art Nouveau c1900 pastoral landscape lithograph by the famed French designer and illustrator Jules Habert Dys (1850-1925). Habert Dys is known for his fanciful decorative designs for ceramics, wallpapers, textiles, vases, etc. His work is intricate and exquisite and reflects the impact of Japanese influence at the time. His works are found in museums and library collections around the world. This pastoral scene is serene and gentile. Please note that the artist used metallic gold ink detail in the leaf motifs of the lithograph. Metallic inks are RARE and were used in illustrative decorative art at this time. This feature is most exquisite! The lithograph is pristine; it is signed by the artist. The image size is 7 ¼ x 10 ½ inches. Please see companion lithographs offered by us.
