These are a pair of antique primitive hand hewn, handmade plank bottom chairs. Full height splayed spindle backs with 4 stretcher bases.
The rich light brown patina is beautiful. The plank bottom seats show the history of the chairs with markings that come with age and use.
They are sure to enhance any area they are placed especially a stone wall back drop, kitchen area, dining area, etc.
They are sure to bring looks and conversation wherever they are placed.
These are hand made circa 1880 from the Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia.
