19th century, 2 drawer lock box with brass gallery top, that sits on an attached brass gallery bottom. The 2 drawer lock box comes with its original key, which locks and unlocks both drawers. I am not quite sure if the wood could possibly be cherry, walnut or another type of wood.
Inside the top drawer bottom, there are several repeated ink stamps, wording, " S. H. Myer, Dover, York Co. Pa.".
