Hand-crafted from solid oak, it features a beveled solid plank top with generously rounded corners that preside over the elegantly scrolled legs carved with foliate, crest with fishscale and scrollwork ~ leading the eye down to the cloven hoof foot below. The drawer side boasts three surprisingly spacious drawers each defined with finely carved molding accented with a brace of foliate flourishes, and centered with finely cast brass key guards. The sides reflect a more tailored look with the same subtle foliate flourishes, while the front of the desk features a continuation of the fine molded detail but with an exquisitely carved urn bursting with flowers and foliage at the center. The richness and patina of the hand-select oak is on full display thanks to our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
