Magnificent pair of mid-century leaf sconces in murano hand-blown crystal glass and solid brass. These wonderful lights were designed in italy by barovier & toso in the 1950s. These finely crafted murano sconces recall the the shape of a leaf, with fantastic details. The leafs were mouth-blown by the murano craftsman of the time in a beautiful clear crystal glass that is at its best when lit. The backplate and the arm are in solid brass that has been kept with its natural patina, which gave the metal a fantastic gold tone, amplifying their charm and historical value. The lamps are in amazing vintage conditions with no chips, they come wired and tested, compatible with both us and eu standardrs and use an e14 light bulb. An incredibly charming pair of sconces that will complete a midcentury-style living room or a classic entrance hall. Dimensions (cm): height - 22 depth - 11 width - 11 this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
