Pk24 chaise longue by poul kjaerholm for e. Kold christensen. This piece is part of an important collection of early kjaerholm pieces carefully curated by an art loving couple for their architectural villa in the netherlands. The villa is sold and their other house and art museum don’t match with the kjaerholm aesthetics. We will list more pieces of this collection soon. This piece is in fine vintage condition with a few cane blemishes as pictured. The pk24 chaise longue designed by poul kjaerholm in 1965 for e. Kold christensen is a scandinavian design icon. It is also commonly referred to as the “hammock chair”. Its stainless steel frame is combined with an elongated cane seat and a leather neck cushion, creating a sleek and minimalistic silhouette. Ingeniously, the angle of the seat can be adjusted by pushing or pulling the sides of the frame. The slight recline and ergonomic design ensure optimal support for the body.
