Evoke the vibrant nostalgia of the 1930s machine age with this Large Streamlined Stepped Spun Aluminum and Brass Lamp. The stately, bullet-shaped design and satin brass body are accentuated by stepped aluminum details, while the base features a unique combination of aluminum and color anodized aluminum. Add a touch of vintage elegance to any room!
Manufacturer: This lamp is remarkably similar to the work of Speedway Engineering's (Los Angeles) Anodized Spun Aluminum lamps from the late 1930s and early 1940s. Although we are not positive about this lamps maker, it does line up with some of their other known pieces. It is extraordinarily heavy and well built!
All of our lighting has been fully disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and rewired. The socket shell(s) and all external metal components have been professionally hand polished to a beautiful shine. The original felt on the bottom has been replaced with a new brown soft-touch felt. The electrical wiring has been replaced with a new black rayon cord and a black vintage style polarized plug for safe and modern usage.
NOTE: The shade(s) pictured ARE NOT INCLUDED. For your reference it measures 7" (Top) x 13" (Bottom) x 8" (Height). The harp (9.5" tall) and finial ARE INCLUDED. less
