A 2002 green monumental art glass vase titled "Meadow" by the American artist Tom Rupnicki. Electrifying colors of dark and light green with hints of blue create an abstract intersecting pattern across the frosted glass. A bright orange-red streak disrupts the otherwise predominantly green glass. The piece, which stands over three feet tall, is initialed "TR," dated, and titled to the underside.
Tom Rupnicki graduated with his BFA from Columbia College in Chicago in 1985. Thereafter, he continued to expand his education, attending numerous workshops and other teachings at various institutions including the University of Arts in Philadelphia and the Corning Museum of Glass. Rupnicki specializes in both glass and ceramics.
