Description: Gorgeous, French, bronze, figural face, peacock fan Napoleon III, fireplace screen by Charles Casier. This fireplace screen is made of … more Gorgeous, French, bronze, figural face, peacock fan Napoleon III, fireplace screen by Charles Casier. This fireplace screen is made of heavy, brass/ bronze. This isn't like the many others available from the early to mid century. Features intricate detailing of filigree cut-out on the fan insides and outside edges, larger finial and solid latches to lock the screen shut when not in use. There is a figural face of a woman on each side with dimensional leaves. The screen blades are very solid and so are the slides in which each blade is fasted to for sliding. This is a very solid and piece and would make an exquisite addition to your fireplace. *Please read further for more details.

Measurements: approx 31 tall and 10" wide when closed. 12" wide base. 9" depth. 45" wide when opened. *May be slightly disassembled for ease of shipping.
Marks: Signature for Charles Casier on the inside top of main fan blade as well as the intertwined Cs.
