John Robshaw is an artist at heart, who along the way fell in love with the ancient art, originating in India thousands of years ago, of printing fabric with multiple carved blocks, dipped in natural dyes – Hand-blocked textiles that are the backbone of his international design reputation. If you like color, pattern, and texture, and especially if you value craftsmanship, this is your guy. His linen and cotton designs are a balance of bold and soft, simplicity and complexity, color and texture, old and new world. Designers value Robshaw’s updated spin on the traditional, handmade object; his vibrant mix of romantic and sophisticated worldly allure. Swirly prints, paisleys (also an ancient design), medallions and other rhythmic patterns abound. A mix of his different pillow designs is really fabulous!
This graceful design features small rosy buds on a meandering vine with paisley in soft gold hues. On the reverse is a 100% linen coordinating warm white linen. The edge is a simple, clean knife-edge (no trim)
