1950s Stilux Yellow Metal and Brass Articulating Sconce. Executed in brass and yellow painted aluminum. This highly adjustable wall lamp pivots up/down and left/right on a double ball joint.
Stilux was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Accommodates a single 60w equivalent standard US candelabra LED bulb (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical with custom period-style brass backplate added. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor.
Some age appropriate, scuffs, dings, bends, losses, patina and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. less
