This Danish Modern teak credenza /hutch is beautifully embellished with bands of teak running perpendicular to the main surface. Precisely crafted in exceptional warm amber patina wood grain, The Hutch top is removable and lifts off the lower cabinet. Upper portion features convenient sliding glass double doors with two removable adjustable interior shelves. Maker’s label (Falster made in Denmark) on underside. Lower portion of the unit features three sliding doors accented with recessed circular sculpture pulls, opening to reveal a central cabinet with three felt lined, dovetailed drawers, perfect for protecting silverware or other delicate items, flanked by two side cabinets each with one adjustable shelf the whole rest on teak solid legs. Maker’s label: stamped on underside (Made in Denmark). Attractive classic modernist quality and design piece for the modern home. An exceedingly well-crafted fine credenza/ hutch, this piece has been very well taken care of over the years, one that will certainly make a powerful impression on a clean and modern interior décor.
Condition Report: Original finish, light discoloration where the legs of the top piece touches the top surface of the sideboard, only visible when top piece is removed, overall nice condition. Interior is in great clean condition. Drawers open smoothly. Small repair area on the edge of right side on the lower Credenza. Solid and sturdy construction. Overall good original vintage condition.
