19th c. French settee, with what appears to be original paint overlaid by newer paint. The verdigris color is striking, and the finish appears to be mixed with a soft grey paint.
Newly upholstered in Scalamadre graufauge velvet on the interior of the settee. The cream vintage French hand painted silk on the outside arms and back features a floral motif, painted on the silk in white and gold.
