Description: Capper and Wood produced earthenware in England from 1893 - 1904. This tea set falls into that time frame and … more Capper and Wood produced earthenware in England from 1893 - 1904. This tea set falls into that time frame and is an example of their “Horn” pattern.
They specialized in faux finishes and this set illustrates the faux bois pattern accented with faux horn handles. The pieces are also decorated with silver trim and the signature silver shield.
The set includes a tea pot with lid, a creamer and a sugar bowl without a lid. We believe these sugar bowls had no lid at all.
Each piece is marked on the bottom with the “C & W” stamped, registration # and pattern name.
Own a bit of history with this set. It’s wonderful for display in a cabin or woodland setting.
Dimensions given are for the tea pot. The creamer is 4.5”w x 3.25”d x 3.25”h. The sugar bowl is 5.5”w x 3.75”d x 3”h. less
