It was manufactured by the famous ceramic company Digoin Sarreguemines, France. The large serving dish and matching lid have been glazed in a shade of cream and have been decorated with colored transferware hunting images with horses and hounds. The two decorative side handles of the bowl and the finial on the lid have hand painted accents in shades of brown. The underside has been stamped with the manufacturer's mark and pattern reference name in French "Hunting" and the name of the artist A. Simon. less
