An elegant antique French chocolate pot dating from the early 1900s. It was manufactured by the luxury silversmith company Christofle in their finest quality silver plate. The large pot was originally used to serve hot chocolate and features a traditional side handle crafted from turned wood with an attractive deep black patina.
The pot features a stylish design with an attached hinged lid and a long and slender pouring spout. The underside has been stamped with the Christofle makers mark and reference numbers.
