The crest on … more This English silverplate food dome dates to the 1870s with a stamp for Thomas Bradbury & Sons. The crest on the front of the dome has a quote, "My Hope is Constant in Thee", the motto of Clanranald. History is these words were spoken at the Isles of Bannockburn in 1319. The Highland Scottish clan is a branch of Clan Donald, one of the largest Scottish clans.
In remarkable condition given its age. Love when these are displayed on a wall.

Silverplate meat platter is not original to the dome but married for display purposes. This does show wear. Platter, 20" x 14" x 2". less
